RB Leipzig has signed Italian midfielder Angelino from Napoli on a one-year contract.
Angelino, who is 25 years old, joins the German club after a successful spell at Napoli, where he spent two seasons between 2018 and 2020. He played in all competitions for the Serie A side and made 69 appearances, scoring three goals.
RB Leipzig's technical director Jürgen Klopp said: "We are delighted to add Angelino to our squad. His experience and ability to play both inside and outside of the box make him a valuable addition to our team."
Angelino's move comes just weeks after RB Leipzig completed their transfer of winger Julian Brandt from Borussia Dortmund. The club have been busy signing new players in recent months as they look to strengthen their squad ahead of next season.
Napoli will be looking to retain Angelino, who is currently worth around €7 million according to Transfermarkt. However, RB Leipzig have shown their willingness to spend on high-quality players this summer, with several signings already confirmed.
